Non Profit Mission Statement
The Urban Water Institute, Inc., was incorporated as a nonprofit public education organization in the State of California in 1993, with the Mission to provide non-partisan information of timely and pertinent interest to the water resource industry, including public agencies and private firms, with particular emphasis on water economics, management and resource policies as they affect consumers and the general economy.

Posthumous Honorary Members Of The Board

An early member of the Orange County Press Club, Clark was a writer and columnist for several newspapers, including the Los Angeles Times, before becoming the first public information officer for the University of California, Irvine. He later became executive assistant to a member of the Orange County Board of Supervisors and was president and owner of a public relations consulting firm for more than a decade.
